Sorry for the outages earlier today. Hopefully you didn't notice since they weren't that long, but I adjusted Cloudflare routes which degraded service until all the traffic switched over.

Hi everyone. I'm going to be modifying the load balancer to better handle the media CDN which may cause an outage. I'll be monitoring everything and revert the changes if any issues arise.
Basically, I serve the media from a separate CDN domain to reduce traffic to the origin Synapse server. Currently, the nginx server in front of Synapse does the routing to the CDN in the form of redirects but this is sub-optimal as federation does not expect to receive a redirect when querying media. This change to the load balancer will transparently do the redirect.
This will go into effect in an hour or so.

oooooooooook everyone, we are back online. Long story short, a DDOS attack against the infrastructure running evulid.cc lead to a hard drive failure in the main router which knocked everything offline. I had to order a new drive and physically travel to the datacenter to swap the drive.
Everything should be working now, but it is possible there are some minor hiccups over the next 24 hours

Sorry for the extended downtime. Had to install a new hard drive and re-create the RAID array which took longer than expected. I know we've had a lot of downtime recently but that should be over since all the upgrades are complete.
